ELAN'S STORY
Elan Page, a native of Dallas, Texas, is a lifelong learner whose journey has brought her to a place of ensuring other families of color have access to nurture their children’s love for learning.
Elan's life took an unexpected turn during the COVID-19 pandemic when the necessity of homeschooling emerged. It was a shift she and her husband had quietly contemplated, seeking a more challenging and personalized education for their daughter. But the pandemic was a turning point, revealing that "school" doesn't have to conform to a single, rigid model. Amid the challenges of balancing work and education, Elan and her husband discovered the empowerment that came with crafting their children's education to fit their unique needs and interests.
After a brief return to traditional schooling, the Page family made the collective decision to embrace homeschooling as the future for their daughters. Homeschooling offers their family the invaluable opportunity for one-on-one learning, the ability to nurture their children’s individual strengths and passions, and the ability to adapt both of their girls’ education to their unique learning styles.
Long before marriage and children entered the picture, Elan's undergraduate pursuits were fulfilled at the incomparable Spelman College, which laid the foundation for both her academic excellence and quest to help empower other women of color. She also earned her MBA in marketing and entrepreneurship from the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business
Throughout her corporate career, Elan Page has garnered a wealth of experience in marketing and communications with L'Oreal USA, Chick-fil-A, CNN, and most recently, in sports marketing.
